In terms of romance novels, the story is really strong and keeps you bound to it. There are many things happening in this story that keep you engaged. The author has managed to bring together a nice story that will definitely make you think. The details in the story are well highlighted. The author has spent ample time in setting a scene, which is quite evident. It is a great read for people who want to explore the romance genre. The story starts in Himalaya which was quite interesting for me. There is a lot going on in this book and it is definitely a great read.

Initially felt the plot little disconnected and slow paced but as pages were turned pace builds and one gets totally engrossed in it. Story mainly revolves around Bhumi and Veer Pratap Singh in Siddhanth's voice/view/narration. So know about Siddhanth, know about Bhumi and Veer, their parents and childhood, how they meet each other, their married life, secret /reason for Conman Cave name, James Shriram help to the couple etc. by grabbing a copy of the book. Plot flows easily, language used is simple, characters appear real and relatable.
Would say nice plot and would recommend this nice read to all readers of fiction.

This is an atmospheric novel that echoes the pain of a heart deprived of love. Bhumi and Major Veer belong to dysfunctional families. They haven’t had the chance to see the magnificence of love and surprisingly, they never met each other. What bound them was their mutual love for poetry. What brought them together were words. But they come into picture after a climber made it to the con man’s cave and got his hands on a diary. Sounds interesting?
The author has done a good job of weaving a story that keeps you intrigued. At the onset, I found the book promising and continued to feel so till a point when Veer and Bhumi meet. The events that follow distracted me from the story because it seemed to be a part of another cliche and dramatic movie. But, the end changed it all. I was thoroughly impressed by how the author connected these two love birds with climber Sid’s story. You may feel that the characters are scattered and that the story is lacking a direction but wait, and you’ll see everything falling in the place. Each character was interwoven to another and this does create an overall good picture.
I liked the author’s way of creating and developing the ambiance of events. It made the story more authentic. His command over language and deft wordplay work well. The narration was lucid, well-paced, and the narrative was kept simple as well. The characters weren’t really likable but I did like Bhumi as she displays strength, love, and sensitivity. I loved how poetry brought together the main characters and couldn’t help but be touched by their pure love. I wish the plot was treated in a better manner after that. I would have liked the book a lot then. Nevertheless, it might prove to be a one time read for especially those who love romance.

Its was a beautiful read for me and i m actually surprised. I am not usually fond of love stories....but the start of the story itself got me curious. Had it been simply a love story, i wouldn't have liked it much. But the story actually being a flashback from the 90s with a little mystery and the purity & relatability is what has drawn me to read it all in a go. Its such a beautiful and touching story.
But theres still a void left by d end of it.......for me atleast. The proper details of wat had happened to the protagonists there after felt unclear and blurred out. And wat exactly was brought infront of the world by unfolding their story to the world by Siddharth ( with whom the story starts)? The love story or the protagonists' innocence?? This was a little ambiguous. Over all a great read.

One of the most beautiful love story revolving around protagonist Bhumi and Major Veer Pratap singh. Having 15 chapters each of remarkable importance and giving amenity to what author wants to convey.
The beginning line of the story “Somewhere in the Himalayas...” itself gives a chill freak to its readers.
Nicely written well executed thoughts in short thumbs up 👍🏻

The book, as the title suggests is a story about love. How two people found love through poetry. The story starts with Sidhanth who is set to solve the mystery about the con man's cave. There he finds about Bhumi, Veer and their everlasting love. The story is filled with a lot of emotions which hits the readers at the right spot. The ending and twists were really good. The characters have been crafted well. The detailing of events have been done beautifully, although I felt that the narration could have been better. The flow and pace of the story was maintained well. The way that the author has connected the story of Bhumi, Veer and Sid is totally commendable.
